FITSTAN
Your Personal AI Trainer
What is Fitstan?
Fitstan, meaning 'country of fit people,' is an AI-powered app that uses computer vision to track your body in real-time, creating a 2D model to monitor your movements. This ensures exercises are performed with correct form and range of motion, optimizing results and preventing injuries.
Why We Made Fitstan
Aim
Some choose home workouts over the gym
-
Many people feel ashamed to go to the gym as they think they might be bullied because of their body shape.
-
Many can not afford fees for personal training.
-
Can not align with the timings of the gym complex.
Problem with home wokout
Many people end up with injuries or feel unsatisfied with their home workouts because they don't know which exercises to perform or how to execute them with proper form and range of motion.
As the name suggests, our goal is to make everyone fit—whether a homemaker or a corporate employee—by providing the luxury of a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost
PROTOTYPE
Technology Stack
Programming Language: Python 3.10
Libraries Used: OpenCV(OpenCV is a great tool for image processing and performing computer vision tasks), Mediapipe, tkinter, gTTs
Sampling models and AI models: MediaPipe from Google (MediaPipe is an open-source framework from Google for building multimodal (eg. video, audio, any time series data), cross-platform (i.e. Android, iOS, web, edge devices) applied ML pipelines.)
GUI: Tkinter is the de facto way in Python to create Graphical User interfaces (GUIs) and is included in all standard Python Distributions. It's the only framework built into the Python standard library.
Voice Output: gTTS (Google Text-to-Speech)is a Python library and CLI tool that interfaces with Google Translate's text-to-speech API.
